We were delighted to be one of Aberdeen Student Show bronze charities again this year collecting an amazing £2,895.76. Thank you to our volunteer Margaret Khan who popped along to the disbursement ceremony on our behalf. The student show has contributed to the purchase of our fantastic horses Brian and Billy over the last few years and this years funds will go towards another new one! Thanks to everyone at the Aberdeen Student Show for your continued support.

Super busy morning at Tweeddale today - 20 Ton quarry dust moved, tack all sparkling clean, stables pressure washed, rag wort/dock removed, field shelters repaired, meeting room etc all cleaned and ready for the start of term on the 24th August. 🤩

We really can’t thank these guys enough for their help and support, it is so very much appreciated.

🐴 VOLUNTEERS WANTED 🐴

Can you spare a little time to help make a huge difference?

As we are make plans to return after the holidays, we are on the look out for friendly new volunteers to join our wonderful team based at Tweeddale, just outside Inverurie.

We are especially looking for hands-on help for:

🐴 Tuesday mornings
🐴Wednesday evenings
🐴Thursday evenings.

Horse experience preferred but training will be given.

Whether you are leading a pony or side-helping to support our amazing riders, you will be part of a warm, welcoming group of volunteers.

Are you heading off to university soon and worried about your beloved pony stuck at home with no job to do?

We are looking for a safe, kind gelding measuring between 14.3hh and 15.2hh to join our wonderful herd near Inverurie.

We can offer your special boy a five-star home throughout term time returning to you for holidays if you wish.

Whilst with us they will have a routine of varied light work and a loving environment where he will be cherished by our riders and dedicated volunteers.

We are looking for a creative volunteer to help us produce a short, heartwarming promotional film for the upcoming Gordon RDA Ball on 7th November.

As a charity, we rely on amazing people like you to support our fundraising efforts.

By volunteering your time and talent, you will help us showcase our riders, volunteers, and horses to those attending our biggest fundraising event of the year.

🥇🥈🥇Huge congratulations to one of our riders, Charlotte MacDonald, who, as part of Team Grampian competed in the Special Olympics GB National Summer Games. Charlotte came home with gold in the horse trails and silvers in Dressage and Equitation.
We are very proud of her here at Gordon RDA and were delighted to hear of her success. WELL DONE CHARLOTTE 🥇🥈🥈
