We have had to change the date of the celebration to Saturday 22nd August. (It will not be on Sat 13th June as previously advertised).

Brillliant night at Midmar's Hogmanay 2025 on Wednesday. You sure know how to party!
We didn't get too much in the way of photos as there was too much dancing and subsequent "rehydration" to get done, so if you have any photos or videos please post them to Midmar Hall or What's on in and around Midmar. We would love to see them.
Thanks to all the locals who helped set up, clear up and made sure the evening ran smoothly...we couldn't do it without you. And also massive thanks to our 7-strong (for this gig) Midmar Occaisionals ceilidh band who played brilliantly all night.
Almost £1700 was raised for Midmar Hall funds, which will help us maintain and improve our ace village hall. Midmar - give yourselves a pat on the back.
May we wish everyone a happy and healthy 2026.

2025 HOGAMANAY PARTY
We are looking forward to the BIG party on Wednesday night. Tickets are all sold.
As usual, there will be a raffle and games during the evening, so please bring cash or card if you want to join in.
Donations of raffle prizes would be really appreciated on the night.

Does anyone recognise this wee cat, coming to our garage in Midmar to sleep and eat for weeks now. Wee soul is very friendly and in good condition. Will arrange for re homing if no one claims it. DM me if you recognise it.

Some belated photos of the Midmar Community Hogmanay 2024 ceilidh from last Tuesday.
What a night, with fantastic live music provided by the Midmar Occaisionals followed by a disco after the the Bells and Auld Lang Syne. Lots of dancing, fun and laughter with over a thousand pounds raised to support our Hall.
We were even treated to a spectacular New Year auroral fireworks display (no upset pets and livestock....yay)
Thank you for all those many volunteers who gave their time to help organise, play, set up and clear up. This event wouldn't happen without you all.
