CrossReach Cameron House Cameron House is only two miles from the centre of Inverness and located in a quiet residential area.

The home has has been built around a small courtyard garden, which provides a safe and relaxing place for residents to circulate.

Some fun times were had last week!

Monday was spent with Rustie our Therapet who we all love 🫶 🐾

Tuesday we had the best afternoon with Seagull Cruise 🛥️💙

We’re just sad that’s us till next year! A huge thank you for everything you’ve done this year! Filling up our calendar and creating great memories. We’re forever grateful! 🥰

Wednesday we were out again at the Dementia Resource Centre and we had a show and tell afternoon with them 🧸

Thursday we had some of us showing our artistic side with painting and colouring in 🎨

Friday was spent with another pamper afternoon 💅

The weekend staff read the Daily sparkle and played some games 🎲

We were kept busy last week! 🌷

Monday we were out on the trikes again! Thanks to Spokes For Folks ❤️

Tuesday we spent the day baking in spirit of Great British Bake Off starting! 🍰🧁 We had lots of fun and thankfully, no soggy bottoms 😆

Wednesday was a busy busy day! In the morning, a few of us went out to the Dementia Resource Centre where we played games and had our lunch there🧺 Then in the afternoon, we had Singing For Pleasure and they put on a great show! 🎤🎶

Thursday we had more singing from Hilary and Alister, we went around the world 🌍

Friday we had a pamper day 💅

Then this weekend was busy with the Friends group putting on a great ceilidh! So thank you to them 👏

September is flying by that’s another lovely week we have had here!

Monday afternoon, we enjoyed a lovely cruise along the canal, taking in the beautiful views, listening to the accordionist and enjoying a lovely cup of tea along the way⛵️

Tuesday afternoon, Audrey and the sounds familiar team put on a fantastic show. Our residents loved singing and dancing along! 🎶

On Wednesday afternoon, our residents enjoyed getting creative and painting a poster for Liza 🎨

Thursday afternoon, the Nessbank Guild, had us dancing and singing along. They were great fun! And we always enjoy when they come to visit!💕

Friday afternoon was a special celebration for Liza’s 20 years here at Cameron House! We enjoyed a staff meal followed by Bobby singing and playing the guitar in the lounge. Our residents loved it, with some even getting up to dance! 🕺🏻

Over the weekend, staff did a lovely job reading the Daily Sparkle and having their morning devotions. On Sunday, we were delighted to welcome Mr and Mrs McDonald, who led our afternoon service. We are very grateful to them for all they do! ✨

What we got up to last week 💕

Monday: We were back out on the trikes with spokes for folks 🦆

Tuesday: We had Katie in making a lovely job with everyone’s hair and Rustie our Therapet dog came to see us🐶

Wednesday: We played cards outside♠️

Thursday: We started our morning right with a coffee at M&S and then in the afternoon played a number game ☕️🧩

Friday: We had our online Gym session in the morning and then in the afternoon Eric played the accordion 🪗

This weekend, the weekend staff did a fantastic job of getting involved with the Daily Sparkle and making sure the residents had plenty to enjoy. ✨

We said goodbye to August with a pamper afternoon and welcome September with a good old sing along with Sounds Familiar! 🎶

We’ve also had plenty of reasons to celebrate this week, with not one, not two, but THREE Birthdays! 🎈 Happy Birthday to Helen, Hazel and Evelyn💝

Our Seagull Cruise adventures haven’t stopped yet! Last Thursday, we enjoyed another lovely afternoon out on the Loch! 🌊☀️

Our weekend staff did a fantastic job of keeping everyone entertained, including reading aloud from the Daily Sparkle and enjoying an evening show of Mamma Mia! 🎬🎶

On Sunday, we were also delighted to welcome Mr Young, who led our afternoon worship service🌷
