The Aigas Community Forest are holding their annual open day on Saturday 12th of September! The day will run from 10am - 4pm and will be a mix of storytelling, crafts and activities.

Naturedays are running a stall and will have a nature table filled with interesting things for people to look at. We'll also be bringing our bug hunting kit along, in case we find any cool bugs for you all to see! 🪲🪳🪰

🤝 | We’re excited to announce that MCR Pathways is partnering with Workforce North, Skills Development Scotland, Developing the Young Workforce North Highland, and The Highland Council on a new career-focused mentoring pilot!

We are calling on individuals from all walks of life, careers, and backgrounds across Ross-shire and Sutherland to step forward as volunteer mentors for S4 young people in local secondary schools.

By giving just one hour a week during term time, you can provide consistent guidance to help a young person recognise their unique talents, build confidence, and prepare for positive post-school destinations, such as higher or further education, an apprenticeship, or employment.

No prior experience is required. Full training and PVG checks are provided, alongside ongoing support throughout your mentoring journey.

Wee Adventure has free copies of our books available to give away to community groups or organisations that work with children and families. Please email if you would like at [email protected]

Examples of books donated free so far include schools, GP practises, community health visitors, Scout groups, community woodland projects etc. You just need to collect locally or we can work out postage.

We can no longer provide individual copies for sale as we have closed the charity accounts as part of our wind-down . Thank you for all your support over the years!

Natalie Gilray Coaching will be running a Laughter Wellness session at the Culduthel Community Woods on Saturday 6th June.

This will be as part of the Family Woodland Adventure with lots of activities to try out. Come along and join the fun. 🤣🤸‍♀️🎨🥁

The festival is a community event, with 33 free walking and wheeling activities taking place.
