It's been a blast! After 10 years as a registered charity, it's time for a wrap. These wee folk on the front of our first book who inspired the charity are now 14...and even more reluctant to go for a walkπŸ˜‚.

But before we go, we'd like to know if we can help your project out....

As we always promised, our book sales go back into the community. With 15,000 reached through books sold or donated, we are very proud of that achievement. We love it that so many families have been able to enjoy the shared adventures.

We are now looking for small projects in the Highlands to support, so we can help others move forward just as we were helped at the start. As three mums at an Inverness toddler group with an idea but not much else, we know every donation helps.

Projects must align with our charitable aims - to get Highland (Inverness and wider surrounds) families into the outdoors together, enjoying their local natural environment, to benefit their physical and mental wellbeing.

Email for more info - deadline is 25th Feb 2026. [email protected]

⚑| β€œThe best thing about being a mentor is seeing my mentee growing in confidence and self-belief. At the age of 77 years I still feel valued.”

The feedback from our Mentor Winter survey proves that whether you’re 21 or 77, just being there for a young person helps them find their way, while making you feel valued too.

All you need is one hour a week to ignite the vital spark in a young person.
