Is your child home schooled but you would like them to get the flu vaccine?

The flu vaccine is the safest and most effective way to help protect against flu and help reduce the risk of spreading flu to others. NHS Scotland recommends all eligible children get the free flu vaccine each year to help protect them from influenza (flu). This is available between September and December.

Further information on child flu vaccine is available here - https://www.nhsinform.scot/childflu

Children who are Home Schooled within the Highland Council area, who want the flu vaccine this year, please contact our local Service Delivery Centre on 08000 320 339 to make an appointment.

We have a number of community clinics available across the Highland Council area.

Shared by request...and definitely a gig worth making the effort to get along to. Kim will have Innes White and Megan Henderson with her (both of whom have HYM connections!)

Live Music Now Scotland auditions are open for 2023/24!

LMNS is looking for emerging musicians and ensembles for fairly paid performances and workshops to bring high-quality live music to people who can’t easily access concerts.

Any style of music is welcome, including classical, Scottish/Gaelic/Irish traditional, other international traditions, rock, pop, hip-hop, country and jazz, although you must be able to perform without PA.

Musicians should be in the early stages of their professional careers, and need to be able, legally and practically, to work in Scotland.

Applications will close on 27th October 2023 and auditions will take place in Glasgow on Wednesday 17th and Friday 19th of January 2024!

For full details, and to apply, please visit our website: https://livemusicnow.scot/musicians/auditioning-for-lmns/
