Join Millie at RAM Fitness, Dingwall for a Charity Workout on Saturday 7th November, from 9am to 11am.

Whether you are wanting to get fit or have a bit of friendly competition with your friends, you will be supporting Millie's Great Wall of China Trek participation for Highland Hospice. 💛🌻

We are looking for a Staff Nurse to join our dedicated team at Highland Hospice, providing specialist palliative care and support to patients and their families.

🌻 Highland Hospice, Ness House, 1 Bishop's Road,
🌻 £34,544 – £43,039 per annum (pro rata)
🌻 Full and part-time hours considered

As a Staff Nurse, you will provide holistic, patient centred palliative care, working alongside our skilled multidisciplinary team. Your role will include care planning, medicine management and supporting patients with their everyday needs in a positive environment.

We are looking for someone with strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills and a respectful empathetic approach to their work. 💛

🍁With so much to see give yourself plenty of time to explore the geodesic dome filled with ferns, the sunken fern garden developed on the site of an early 19th-century drain, the waterfall and.pool along with the sunken garden, peace garden and kitchen garden. Other features include a conservatory, Japanese garden, sculpture collection and giant sundial.

We are looking for a Donation and Distribution Assistant to join the team at our Highland Hospice warehouse on Harbour Road, Inverness.

This is a hands-on and fast-paced role at the heart of our retail operation, helping everything run smoothly behind the scenes - from welcoming donors and sorting donations to preparing shop orders, loading vans and getting stock where it needs to go.

If you are a people person, enjoy being part of a busy team and don’t mind getting stuck in, we would love to hear from you.

📍 Harbour Road, Inverness
⏰ 22.5 hours per week
💷 £26,557 per annum, pro rata
🚐 Full driving licence required

We’re incredibly grateful for all your donations, but items that are damaged, stained or simply unsellable can actually cost us money to dispose of - taking vital funds away from our services. 🌻

A good rule of thumb? If you would buy it, we would love to receive it. 💛 Read the full article to learn more about why unsellable donations are such a challenge for charity retail.
