North Kessock Village Hall is disappointed to report that the refuse collection team was unable to accept waste from the hall due to incorrect disposal of rubbish following a recent booking.

We would like to remind all hall users that waste must be sorted into the correct bins before leaving the premises.

Evidence within the waste, including children’s names on pizza boxes, may help us identify the booking responsible.

The following issues were found:

• Pizza and pizza boxes were placed in the paper recycling bin.
• Bin bags containing general waste and glass bottles were placed in the plastics recycling bin.

Incorrectly sorted waste creates additional work for volunteers and can result in collections being refused. Please be aware that failure to dispose of waste correctly may affect the return of your deposit.

If this was your party or event, please contact us as a matter of urgency.

We appreciate everyone’s cooperation in helping keep the hall clean and ensuring waste is disposed of correctly.
