Hope Gordon smashes it at the Para Canoe World Cup.🤩

What a week it has been for Highland’s Hope Gordon, in Brandenburg, Germany. Hope reminded everyone why she is widely considered one of the top talents in Para Canoe, winning her maiden Women’s KL3 200m gold.🥇

Hope, who has only ever won gold in VL3 races, came out on top in the tightly contested race, she said: “That is my first gold in kayak so it means a lot,”

The following day, Hope was back out on the water, this time competing in the Women’s VL3 200m. Going into the race raining world champion, Hope delivered a solid performance, making sure that she finished on the podium, and heading home with a silver medal.🥈

Congratulations Hope, best of luck for the rest of the season.💪

**Event Update: Senior Athletics Championships**

Unfortunately, we have had to make the decision to postpone this year’s Senior Athletics Championships. This is due to the closure of the Queen’s Park athletics track for essential upgrades, combined with the current unpredictable weather conditions as we work to secure a suitable and safe alternative venue.

We will share further details, including a new date and event information, as soon as they become available. Updates will be sent via our email distribution list and posted here on Facebook.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused, particularly for those who had planned to join us on 28th May. We greatly appreciate your understanding and hope you will be able to attend once the event is rescheduled.
