The inaugural Inter-Area Championships will be held 30th & 31st of May at Moray Archery.

The weekend comprises two days of team and mixed team head-to-head as well as the two World Record Status Ranking Round (WA 70m/50m) competition, with the best area in Scotland competing for the title of Inter Area Champions. The competition is designed to give area teams valuable experience in team and mixed-team formats, helping them prepare for the National County Team Championships and the Home Nations.

We are looking for a full team for each category (3RO, 3RW, 3CO, 3CW, 3BO, 3BW, 3LO, 3LW). Selection will be based on two WA720 scores (practice scores will also be accepted but priority given to scores shot in competition) shot between 15th April 2025 and 15th April 2026. Entries will close Wednesday 15th April at 9pm. Team will be announced by Wednesday 22nd April. The Northern Area are funding the entries so the only cost for archers will be travel and accommodation (there are a few hotels local to the venue and camping is also available at the venue).

This is open to everyone and you do not need to be a member of the Northern Area Squad to apply and be selected.

There will be a barbeque on the Saturday night (7pm-10pm). There will be a cost of £10 per person for this.

There will be a training day for the team (date and location TBC).

The Northern Area team manager for this event is Joshua Phillips
