Aird Community Trust is a community anchor organisation whose purpose is to improve the lives of people who live within the Kirkhill and Bunchrew area. It works with members of the community and other stakeholders to carry out a broad range of social, economic and environmental activities of benefit to the community. The Aird (meaning high place in Gaelic) is the historic name for the Fraser clan

lands to the West of Inverness and South of the Beauly Firth. Our area does not cover the whole of the Aird but does include most of it.

A 'Magic The Gathering' trading card was found, possibly dropped, on the ground at the corner of Wardlaw and St. Marys road, Kirkhill, (Saturday 23 May at around 6pm-ish). As these are collectable items it may have sentimental value.

The card is being held securely so please let us know in the comments if the card belongs to yourself or a family member, and we'll look to organise a way of getting it back to you.

Aird Community Trust volunteers spent much of last Wednesday between sun and showers cutting back vegetation on the path between Inchmore and Wester Moniack. Amazing how quickly it grows at this time of the year. If you might be able to help please contact [email protected]😊

Hi, just a wee reminder that it's the Aird Community Trust's AGM tomorrow (Monday 23rd) night - 7pm in the Kirkhill Community Centre. A great opportunity to hear about all that the Trust has been up to over the last year, and to raise any ideas of what we should be doing next. The evening will start with a short presentation by Carol Roberts who works with local GP practices on "Supporting People to Live Well", a break for refreshments (and cake) then the AGM itself.
