This Is Me Highland T.I.M is a charity founded by pro-active, enthusiastic, caring parents.

The aim of the charity is to help children and young people who have been diagnosed with a neurodevelopment disorder, (diagnosed within the NDAS criteria)

Do you run something that our group could get involved in? We’re open to anything at all,crafts, sports, music, creative activities, workshops, classes, or something completely different! 🎨🎶🏃‍♀️

We’d especially love to hear from anyone who can offer an exclusive session for our group.

What an amazing day out on the Beastie Boat! 💙

The children and adults had an absolute blast exploring the beautiful Loch Ness, taking in the stunning scenery and, of course, keeping their eyes peeled for Nessie! 👀🦕 It was fantastic to see so many smiles, laughter and excitement throughout the trip.

We’re so grateful to everyone who came along and helped make another wonderful day of memories for our families. We can’t wait to see you all at our next adventure! 💙

A huge thank you to Moo Music Highland – Louisa for coming along to our Haven session today! 💛

The children absolutely loved it, and Louisa quickly worked out what each child needed to help them engage and enjoy themselves. It was wonderful to see, and it was also lovely to welcome some families we don’t usually get to see.

A big thank you to the Elsie Normington Foundation for allowing us exclusive hire of the Haven twice a week. So many families are benefiting from these additional sessions, which we’re able to offer free of charge throughout the school holidays, giving families a safe, welcoming place where their children can have fun while parents can relax and connect with others.

Finally, we’d like to say a heartfelt thank you to Bridge to Bridge Highland Cycle . None of this would be possible without the incredible funds raised last year. Your support is making a real difference to local families, and we are forever grateful. 💛

💙 This is Me Highland would like to say a huge thank you to The Den for their incredible kindness and generosity once again. 💙

🎉 Tina did a fantastic job organising the event, Alistair kept everyone entertained as an engaging DJ, happily taking requests from both the children and the parents, and the ladies behind the bar went above and beyond, making every family feel so welcome and even stepping onto the dance floor to join in the fun! 💃🕺

🌟 The Den created a truly inclusive environment where every child and family felt accepted, valued and able to enjoy themselves without judgement. That means more than words can say.

❤️ We're so grateful to The Den for making opportunities like this possible for our families, experiences that many would otherwise miss out on. Thank you for helping create such wonderful memories. We truly appreciate your ongoing support and everything you do for our community. 🥰

The girls had such a lovely time relaxing with the foot spa, getting their nails painted, and enjoying a little bit of well-deserved pampering. 💅✨

Another fantastic evening at our new Teenager Hangout Session! 🤩

Amy put together an amazing s’mores and hot chocolate station, and it made for such a relaxed and chilled evening. ☕🔥🍫

It was lovely to welcome some new faces along too – we hope you all had a great time!

The teenagers are already VERY excited for our next session, which is going to be our Summer Party! ☀️🎉

And yes… there WILL be slip and slides! 💦 So don’t forget to bring a towel and your swimming costume.

Parents… you might want to bring yours too! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

We are devastated to hear of the sudden passing of Gus this week.

Gus was a truly lovely, kind man who was always so welcoming, supportive and inclusive of everyone at This Is Me Highland. We were incredibly grateful that he opened his doors early in the mornings to give our group exclusive hire, always making our children and their families feel so welcome. His kindness and generosity meant so much to us all.

Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with his wife, children and all who knew and loved him at this incredibly difficult time. Sending you all love, strength and our deepest sympathies. ❤️

Do you have a neurodivergent teenager who isn’t currently part of our charity? We’d love for you to join the charity💙

We’re really hoping our Friday Night Youth Club will be a huge success, giving teenagers a chance to get off their phones and computers, make new friends, build confidence, and have fun in a safe and supportive environment.

If you know a young person who would enjoy meeting others, taking part in activities, and being part of a welcoming community, we’d love to hear from you!
