Do you have a neurodivergent teenager who isn’t currently part of our charity? We’d love for you to join the charityπŸ’™

We’re really hoping our Friday Night Youth Club will be a huge success, giving teenagers a chance to get off their phones and computers, make new friends, build confidence, and have fun in a safe and supportive environment.

If you know a young person who would enjoy meeting others, taking part in activities, and being part of a welcoming community, we’d love to hear from you!

Please feel free to share this post and help us spread the word. πŸ’›

A very busy Haven session today! Lots of fun was had by both the adults and the children. 😊

It was lovely to see parents meeting new people and making new connections, while siblings had the chance to make new friends too.

A huge thank you to everyone who stayed behind to help with the clean-up afterwards – it was very much appreciated. πŸ’™

Thank you to everyone who came along and helped make it such a fantastic session! ✨😊

Thank you Elsie Normington Foundation for allowing us to hire this place every week the kids love it so much πŸ’›

Safe to say, the committee members were also very excited about the new ball pit… as you can see πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Wow! Please come along to this amazing Transition Fair this Friday! πŸ’œ

I am so grateful this has been organised β€” there are so many amazing providers attending and so much helpful information available.

You might think adulthood feels a long way off, but honestly it comes around so quickly. The more information and support you can access early, the better prepared you’ll feel for the future.

Whether you’re just starting to think about transition or already planning ahead, this is such a fantastic opportunity to ask questions, explore services and find out what support is available.

Definitely worth popping along if you can! πŸ’œ

πŸŽ‰ What a FUN day back at the Haven Centre today! πŸŽ‰

The kids have really missed their Sundays thereβ€”and honestly, so have the parents πŸ’›

We had lots of new toys to build, and the kids absolutely LOVED them 🧩✨ It was amazing to see so many smiles, laughter, and everyone enjoying being back together again πŸ₯°

Here’s to many more happy Sundays ahead! 🌈

We are deeply saddened to see the closure of the trampoline park. Over the years, we have shared many wonderful sessions there.

We would like to clarify that, contrary to what was previously stated in a Press & Journal article today, the closure of the trampoline park does not mean that This Is Me is closing. This error has now been corrected in the article.
We are very grateful to have held a number of exclusive sessions throughout the holidays as a charity, and while the regular weekly sensory sessions at the trampoline park have been a lifeline for many families involved with This Is Me, these sessions were run by the trampoline park and not by us.
We appreciate P&J addressing and correcting this mistake, particularly as no clarification was sought from us beforehand. We hope this reassures any families who may have been concerned.

Lots of fun, a few bumps along the way, but plenty of smiles and happy faces all round 😊

Again so grateful to Bridge to Bridge Highland Cycle for funding towards this activity πŸ’™

What a brilliant start we’ve had to the October holidays! 😊
Dalmore Aromas started our week on Monday doing a wonderful workshop, where a group did some Christmas crafts and made their own candles πŸŒ²πŸ•―οΈ

On Tuesday we had Highland Ballers delivering another fantastic class. Lots of laughs and fun had. We really appreciate our regular classes with you guys! ⚽️

Then today lots of families headed to Eden Court Theatre for an exclusive TIMH cinema screening of Sketch 🎦.

We are looking forward to pumpkin picking on Friday for our yearly visit to Loch Ness pumpkin picking at Corrimony farm πŸŽƒπŸŽƒ

🌟 Thank you Dalneigh Spiritualist Church 🌟

We are incredibly grateful to Dalneigh Spiritualist Church for choosing This Is Me Highland as one of the charities to support through their recent fundraising efforts. πŸ’œ

We were honoured to receive a generous donation of Β£500, which will go directly towards providing fun, inclusive activities for the families we support.
A special thank you to Helen, Mandie, Norma, Hamish, Tony, and Phyllis, your kind words truly touched us 😊
"We chose your charity as we admire the work you are doing and the effort you are making for things to happen, so caring and beneficial to the children, and hopefully rewarding to you guys."

Knowing that our work is seen and valued by our community means the world to us. Your support helps make it all possible. Thank you for believing in what we do. πŸ’«
