What is Pathways to Recovery?
Pathways to Recovery is a new approach to supporting mental health which is being piloted. The peer support service is for people across Mid and East Ross who are facing challenges with their mental health, feeling stuck or isolated, or finding services difficult to navigate.

What is peer support?
• Support offered by someone who has their own lived experience of mental health challenges and recovery - someone who has been there too.
• Peer support is not about trying to ‘fix’ someone or telling them what to do - it’s about human connection, understanding, empathy, and empowerment.
• It’s about listening with compassion, respect, inclusion, empathy, support, and without judgement.
