A big thank you to coaches and members of the Inverness Bowling Club for delivering a week of lawn bowls taster sessions for P4-6 pupils within walking distance of their club!

The children all had a great time and will have the opportunity to sign up to a lawn bowls after school club in June.

I'm delighted to say Active Schools sessions are returning to the James Cameron Community Centre on Thursdays!

From Thursday 22nd January, fortnightly fun games activities will take place for P1-3 (5.40-6.30pm) and basketball for P4-7 (7-8pm).

Merry Christmas from Inverness High Active Schools!

We've had so many opportunities to get active in this cluster, thanks to the support of our partners and volunteers. From lawn bowls to disc golf, taekwondo to basketball and lots of other sports in between, a big thank you to everyone for their contributions this term!

P6 Dance Leaders

High Life Highland was delighted to provide Dance Leaders recently to a group of P6 pupils at Dalneigh P S, courtesy of Cheryl Heggie!

Cheryl delivered 2 in depth sessions to the group, discussing key elements of leadership before choreographing a dance for the group to take and learn on their own. The confidence the group showed was amazing to see, to the point where they were even able to create their own dance routines to show their peers!

The Leaders will now look to provide extra-curricular dance session for P1-3's at their school.
