"I am who I am meant to be."
You don't have to have it all figured out to be on the right path. Every step, even the hard ones, is shaping you.
Our Mikeysline affirmation cards - created by local children - are so powerful because they carry real, honest reminders from young voices that understand the importance of kindness and self belief.
Purchase a pack for yourself, your class or someone you care about, for little moments of positivity throughout the day.
Fundraising doesn't have to be complicated or time consuming - anyone can do it!
Supporting Mikeysline can be as simple as small, everyday actions, because it's often the little things that add up in a big way.
Whether it's donating the cost of a coffee or raising awareness at a special occasion, every contribution matters.
When lots of people do a little, it can create something truly powerful.

We’re delighted to be part of the new Skye and Lochalsh Community Outreach Hubs, bringing vital services directly into local communities.
Mikeysline is proud to work alongside so many dedicated organisations to raise awareness of mental health and su***de prevention, reduce stigma, and remind people that support is available close to home.
These hubs create welcoming, accessible spaces where conversations can happen openly - and that’s something we truly value.
We’re looking forward to meeting people and continuing to strengthen community connections across Skye and Lochalsh.
The first event takes place at Dunvegan Community Hall next Thursday (23rd) - we hope to see you there!

Our Hives are here for the everyday moments.
The times when things just feel a bit heavy, overwhelming or hard to put into words.
If you need to talk something through in a warm and supportive space, we're here for you.
This little bee, quietly finding what it needs among the blossom, is a reminder that it’s okay to slow down… to pause… to simply be.
Just like nature, we all have seasons. Some days we feel full of energy, and others feel a little heavier—and that’s part of being human.
If today was one of those harder days, be gentle with yourself 💛

Ready to make a difference and have some fun along the way?
We're inviting kids, their grown-ups, schools and community groups to take on a £50 fundraising challenge for Mikeysline!
Bake it, run it, sing it, sell it - however you do it, every pound you raise will support our mental health and su***de prevention services throughout the Highlands, Islands and Moray.
Hit your target and earn your own special Mikesyline mascot.
Sometimes the simplest things can be the hardest to do.
At Mikeysline we know that opening up isn't always easy. It can feel uncomfortable, overwhelming, or even a little scary. But sharing how you feel, even just a little, can share a weight you didn't realise you were carrying.
You don't have to have the right words. You don't have to have it all figured out. Just starting the conversation can make a difference.
Our volunteers and staff give so much of themselves, day in and day out, all year round.
They show up with empathy, passion, and an unwavering commitment to making a real difference in our local communities — and that never goes unnoticed.
A heartfelt thank you to Susie McCabe Comedy and Scotshaven Holistic Therapies & Yoga for such a generous and thoughtful gesture this weekend. You gave some of our team the gift of laughter, rest, and time to recharge.

TEXTLINE:
The Mikeysline text service was launched in December 2015. We have been supporting the people of the Highlands in their times of need ever since. It was the first of its kind in the UK.
By using a text line, as opposed to a phone line, anonymity is assured. This removes the awkwardness sometimes found in talking with a total stranger. 📷1 in 4 people will hang up when they use a phone line, the nerves taking over and sometimes, they aren’t quite able to get the words out. With a text line, this removes that ‘urgency’ if you like. A moment can be taken, words can be deleted and time taken to really manage to put it into words how they are feeling.
In this current age of multimedia communications, it is a tragedy to think there are so many still feeling alone, isolated and not able to express their feelings. We’re here to help.
A common misconception about Mikeysline is that it is only for young people. That’s not the case - we cater for all ages, and have been doing so since we were founded.
Our team of volunteers are there for you each and every day. Nobody has all the answers, but what they do have, is an understanding ear and guidance where we can. They do have time to support you when you need it most. Most of all, however, they’re there for you.
The Hive
The Hive is the Highland’s first out of hours mental health crisis centre, based at 19 Academy Street, Inverness. This ambitious local initiative provides a safe place to those who are in need of it. Coupled with our text service, the joint aim is to reduce social isolation. We want to help vulnerable people to maintain their mental health on a continuous basis.
The Hive is a place to attend without fear of being judged. It is a place for anyone aged 17 and up to come when they feel lost with nowhere to turn. Our staff and volunteers will lend an ear, be there for you and try to help you get through what you are feeling.
One of the main aims for the Hive is to provide an alternative. Instead of heading home and bottling up emotions, come to the Hive. In place of being trapped inside your own head, second guessing, the Hive is a platform to try and work it out. We promise we will try to help you through it.
We know we won’t have all the answers – we don’t profess to be experts. What we do promise is that we are there for you. Sharing your thoughts with an understanding ear can provide a different perspective, as well as the weight it will lift from your shoulders.
We promise you a warm welcome, a hot brew and we WILL listen.
