🕘 9am–4pm

All families are welcome! Drop in for imaginative, messy and creative play for the children, with tea, coffee, soup, snacks and a friendly chat for parents and carers. ☕🥣🎨

There’s lots happening at the YMCA, with the wonderful Parent and Toddler group also running in the morning with oodles of fun to be had.

🌳 Wiggle, Giggle and Go!
Join the CALA Play Team at Woodland Terrace Park, opposite the Craiglynne Hotel, from 1pm–1.45pm for some active play fun!

Back at the Hub, different family-friendly services will be dropping by to share helpful information and support for families if relevant. 💛

🌟 We’re recruiting Family Play Practitioners!

Are you enthusiastic, committed and ready to bring fun to families? CALA is looking for practitioners based in Lochaber, Inverness, Nairn or Alness to join our Family Services Team.

Working alongside our Family Play Leads and wider team, you will initially support our Rise and Shine Programme, with opportunities to help deliver Pop-Up Play, family groups and holiday programmes where appropriate.

🕒 Flexible options of 25–30 hours per week to suit individual availability, worked across 50 weeks of the year.

📅 One-year fixed-term contract, with the potential for extension subject to continued funding.

🎉 EXCITING NEWS – OUR FIRST BADENOCH & STRATHSPEY FAMILY HUB OPENS TOMORROW! 🎉

📍 YMCA, Grantown-on-Spey
📅 Thursday 17th September
⏰ 9.30am – 4.00pm

Our Family Hubs are friendly, welcoming spaces where families can simply pop in throughout the day. Come along for a chat and a cuppa, let the children enjoy some play, find out what support and services are available locally, or just spend some time with us. 💛

We have two exciting opportunities to join our friendly team at CALA Beechwood ELC, Inverness:

👧🧒 Early Years Practitioner
⏰ 20 hours per week | 52 weeks

🍎 Early Years Practitioner – Lunch Cover
⏰ 10 hours per week | 52 weeks

💷 Salary for both roles:
• £13.45 per hour – Unqualified
• £13.74 per hour – Qualified

We’re looking for caring, enthusiastic people who can bring energy, warmth and a real passion for supporting children through play.
