Well done Archie! 🎉

🌟 Monday Motivation 🌟

Our Awesome Archie is kicking off the week with another fantastic achievement! 🎉👏

Archie has successfully completed his SCQF Choose to Lead Level 5 — and what a brilliant accomplishment that is! 🙌📚

And, of course, he’s proudly showing off his new red hoody ❤️ (his favourite colour, I believe… or so I’m told at a certain local rowing 🚣‍♂️ club! 😂)

The biggest WELL DONE, Archie! 👏🎉
Another fantastic achievement to be proud of — keep smashing those goals! 🌟💪

We are delighted to announce that the Highlands has a new young people’s champion, with Eilidh Primrose taking up the role of Highland Youth Convener for 2026-27.

As Highland Youth Convener, she will provide a consistent link for elected members and senior officials in The Highland Council, representing young people’s views, acting as a sounding board for issues young people face and attending relevant council and community planning partner meetings.

Eilidh, who lives in Inverness, is the 18th person appointed to this position and takes over from Leah McBain, who leaves after a busy and successful 12 months in post.

Eilidh was welcomed to the role at the recent meeting of Highland Council’s Education Committee, and she is pictured with Education Chair Cllr John Finlayson and Kate Lackie, Assistant Chief Executive - People.
