Sea Cadets Inverness Sea Cadets Inverness were founded in 1938, and adopted in 1942. That makes us over 80 years old And don't worry. If you want to bring a friend, that is fine.

Interested?

Message us or send an email for an invite to come along to the unit during a parade night. We will make you welcome and show you around the unit, meet the volunteers, and take part in the activities. If you want to join, there is a couple of forms that your parent or guardian will need to complete (to say that you are allowed to join), so bring them along as well. Alternatively, as long as you are over 18, you can complete the forms yourself. At some time, every cadet has had to walk through the gate for the first time, not knowing much about what we do!

Running a Unit is absolutely a team effort...and we have an AWESOME team!

Whilst our intructors, cadets and junior cadets were out having fun afloat our parent supporters worked extremely hard clearing up our Unit outside space today, resulting in 26 bags of garden waste destined for recycling.

We thank you all SO very much, we hope you realise how much this means to us all.

We are extremely proud to announce our 2026 Lord Lieutenant Cadet for the Inverness Lieutenancy is LC Daisy.

LC Daisy is a great ambassador for the Sea Cadets and in her role as a Cadet Voice National Representative is instrumental in supporting and championing her fellow cadets.
