We’ve shifted the time and date again due to the weather forecast…
Hopefully it’ll be a case of third time lucky for our sponsored swim when we plan to complete the Loch Meiklie Mile 🍀🤞✨

💫We aim to get back to the beach at 16:00/16:30. Maybe see some of you there if you fancy coming along to cheer us on.

🌟🌟Loch Meiklie swim update 🌟🌟

Thank you all so much for your incredibly generous donations, we have more than doubled our target!!!

We postponed the swim from Saturday to Sunday due to the forecast being wild and windy. On Sunday the wind was stronger than forecast, we’re a determined bunch though so decided to give it a go! We set off with the support crew to paddle to the far end of the loch and only got part of the way due to the wind and currents being too strong to get there safely! The three of us doing the swim all swam a shorter distance and then all enjoyed hot drinks and cakes at the beach along with our support crew and the lovely folk who’d come to cheer us on.

We will make a plan to return to the loch on a calmer day soon and do the full swim🍀☀️💫
