Women in UNISON Pathways Course

UNISON aims to increase women in leadership roles in their trade union. This course will look at the transferable skills you already have and, teach you how you can transform these to be more involved in your trade union.

All too often we hear that women are unable to attend courses due to caring responsibilities, or that they are unable to get time off work, etc; as such this course will commence on a Friday evening and run through until early afternoon Sunday.

Branches will cover costs associated with members attending including travel and accommodation if required.

UNISON encourages equality through the active participation of women within the union. From fair elections, reserved seats for women, targeted training and campaigning for flexible working.
