This evening was Kiltarlity beavers last meeting of this term and so we played games and went on a sweetie hunt around the outside of the hall. We also enjoyed opening conker shells to see how many conkers were inside 🌰🦫

Beavers were learning about fire safety tonight. They found fire exits around the hall and learned about dialling 999 in an emergency. We managed a few games with the parachute to end the meeting.

Tonight the Scouts had a visitor, Tim Francis, Senior Countryside Ranger at the Highland Council, to talk about the Scottish Outdoor Access Code and the rights and responsibilities it brings.

A lot of this was very relevant, given the number of wildfires over the summer.
