🧥 A Little Kindness Goes a Long Way – inSpire at Inverness Cathedral 💜

As the days grow shorter and the temperatures begin to drop across the Highlands, our thoughts at inSpire are turning towards the colder months ahead and the return of our Winter Jacket Project. ❄️

Throughout the year, inSpire works quietly but determinedly to make a difference to children and families in our wider community. From school uniforms and holiday lunches to emergency food bags, toiletries and everyday essentials, we believe that practical kindness can make a real difference.

And now, with winter just around the corner, we're preparing to help keep children and young people warm with winter jackets, hats, gloves and other essentials. 🧤🧣

For some families, the cost of winter clothing is yet another pressure on already stretched household budgets. We want to help ease that burden, ensuring that children can head out to school, play with friends and enjoy the outdoors feeling warm and comfortable.

💜 At inSpire, there are no complicated forms, no eligibility criteria and no questions asked (apart from perhaps what size or colour you need!). Just kindness, dignity and a genuine desire to help.

But we cannot do this alone.

🌟 How can you help?

🧥 Donate good-quality, clean winter jackets and coats for children and young people.

🧤 Help us with warm hats, scarves and gloves.

💜 Make a financial donation to support our work and help us provide what is most needed.

🤝 Spread the word so that families who could benefit know where to turn.

Every donation, every act of generosity and every offer of support helps us reach another family.

inSpire is about more than giving things away. It's about building a community where people look out for one another, where dignity matters, and where nobody should feel embarrassed about asking for a little help.

As winter approaches, let's make sure that warmth comes not only from the jackets we share, but from the kindness of the community around us. 💜
