Go on Jamie! Over ยฃ500 raised already! We want to say thank you to everyone who has donated so far, we've been blown away with the generosity ๐Ÿฅน Taking on the challenge of walking 105 miles from Wick to Inverness is no easy feat. And we all know how the Scottish Weather can be! This challenge will raise funds to allow us to continue to offer free face to face mental health support across the Highlands.

Please share, donate or show your support however you can! ๐Ÿ™

To help raise awareness of the Discovery Collegeโ€™s FREE walk-in, face-to-face mental health support services, Iโ€™m walking around 105 miles from the Discovery College in Wick all the way to the Discovery College in Inverness.

Congratulations to everyone who completed their Peer Support Training in Wick ๐ŸŽ‰

It was fantastic to see people coming together from different backgrounds, sharing experiences, learning new skills, and exploring how lived experience can be used to support others in a safe, meaningful, and hopeful way.

Peer support is built on connection, mutuality, and the belief that recovery is possible. Every person who completes the training helps strengthen peer support across the Highlands and contributes to creating more compassionate communities.

If seeing these photos has sparked your interest, there's still an opportunity to get involved.

Our next Introduction to Peer Support training takes place in Inverness on Tuesday from 10:00amโ€“4:00pm and it's free. Whether you're interested in becoming a peer volunteer, work in health or social care, support a community group, or simply want to learn more about peer support, we'd love to welcome you. Just register below.
