It’s important to us that those most affected by drug-related harms have a voice in discussions about policy, practice and solutions – so we’re pleased to be able to offer a small number of free places at our Stop The Deaths conference.

To be eligible for a fully funded place, you must have living or lived experience of substance use. Priority will be given to people with no income.

Your experience matters. Carers Trust Scotland, Scottish Families Affected by Alcohol & Drugs, and the UWS-Oxfam Partnership are inviting carers aged 18+ to take part in a research interview to help shape future support.

Interviews are online and last around 40 - 60 minutes.

⚠️New benzodiazepines, such as ethylbromazolam and clonazolam, have been detected in Scotland. Benzodiazepines are commonly found as white, yellow or blue circular tablets, however, new tablet types are also emerging, including jelly capsules. Tablets may look legitimate but can have unpredictable strength or contents, increasing the risk of overdose. ⚠️

⚠️A new non-opioid tranquiliser has been detected in Scotland's drug supply. Medetomidine has been found in brown powders sold as he**in (opioid) and white tablets sold as diazepam (benzodiazepine). Medetomidine is likely to be unknowingly consumed and can result in significant adverse effects and risk of overdose. ⚠️
