Today we had the pleasure of being a part of the Youth and Philanthropy Initiative (YPI) at Charleston Academy!

YPI gives young people the opportunity to become philanthropists in their own community. Students research local issues, learn about charities and the people they support, and then work together to champion a cause that matters to them.

A huge thank you to all the pupils and teachers at Charleston Academy for inviting us to be part of it! 💛

A huge thank you to Bikes of Inverness for getting behind Team Halo for this year’s Bridge to Bridge Highland Cycle

They kindly sponsored our cycling jerseys and helped us create them with our very own Halo branding. It was so special seeing the team out on the road in our Halo colours!

What a day! Another incredible year at Bridge to Bridge Highland Cycle and we loved every minute of it.

A huge thank you to every single cyclist who took on the 77-mile challenge, everyone who donated, our amazing Halo volunteers, the brilliant Bridge to Bridge team and all the businesses and sponsors who make this event possible.

And, of course, a massive well done to our Halo cyclists who made it over the finish line in a fantastic time, it was a pretty special way to finish our time as one of the chosen charities having our own cyclists take part!

We’ve loved being part of Bridge to Bridge, from cheering the cyclists over the finish line to keeping them fuelled at the Strathcarron stop, and we’ve loved meeting so many of you along the way.

The event is such a brilliant example of Highland communities coming together to support local causes, and we feel very lucky to have been part of it.

Thank you, Bridge to Bridge, it’s been a good one!

We had the loveliest visit to our Inverness hub today from some of the team at ANM Electrical Ltd, who dropped off a fantastic donation of nappies and toiletries!

These everyday essentials make such a difference to the families we support, and we’re so grateful to everyone who takes the time to donate and support what we do.

We're looking for a Development Officer to join our team, supporting our weekly peer support groups for young mums under 25 in Inverness and Alness.

In this role, you will build relationships with young mums, plan fun and supportive sessions and help create a space where young mums feel connected, confident and supported.

📍 Inverness & Alness
⏰ 15 hours per week, term-time only

Our youngest founder is taking on the Bride to Bridge 77 mile cycle from the Skye Bridge to North Kessock!

She'll be joined by her best friend Rachel and Rachel's mother-in-law, Jacqui, who's kindly taken on the role of coach.

We're incredibly proud that Highland Action for Little Ones is one of this year's chosen charities, alongside several other amazing local organisations. Bridge to Bridge Highland Cycle is a fantastic event that brings people together to make a real difference across the Highlands.

Right now, we're especially in need of:

💜 Baby toiletries - such as baby wash, shampoo, lotion, nappy cream and wipes.
💜 Teenage toiletries - including shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, shower gel, toothbrushes, toothpaste and sanitary products.

These everyday essentials are included in our care packages, helping children and young people across the Highlands feel cared for and supported during difficult times.
