Thanks to everyone who came along last night - we had a fantastic night of backgammon at the Chieftain Hotel. We've played around 2/3 of the scheduled matches for the 2026 Spring League and the tension is building at the top of both Division Tables 🫣

What an amazing weekend in Aberdeen at the UKBGF Scottish Open 2026. Met so many wonderful people and watched a lot of exciting backgammon. Congratulations to Aberdeen Backgammon Club, June Williamson and her team, and of course this years winners! Hope to be back next year!

We had a very special day at the Club yesterday. We welcomed Paulus van Rooijen, a member of the Dutch national team and two-time Dutch national champion. Paulus very kindly offered his time to give a training session in the afternoon, and then came along to our Club night. A cracking experience for all those who came along. Paulus is a true gentleman and wonderful ambassador for backgammon. Haste ye back!

Thanks to all 14 players who came along on Monday - we had a really good night of backgammon at the Chieftain Hotel. The 2026 Spring League is going from strength to strength. And it's not too late to join if you haven't already.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along last night and made it such a special evening of backgammon! The Spring League 2026 got under way without a hitch. And we’d also like to give a shoutout to our special guest, Miho MacLeod, a backgammon World Champion. It was super having you there, and watching you play. Your presence really added something special to the night.
