The Community Garden is open 10:30am-5:45pm (Mon), 10:30am-5pm (Tue to Fri), and 7:45am-5pm (Sat and Sun) from March to October.

If you're interested in volunteering please leave a message, or alternatively pop in and see us on Thursdays (2-5pm).

Exciting news everyone. We have recently been fortunate enough to purchase our very own apple pulper and fruit press. Therefore on Saturday 19th September we will be holding an Apple Day at the Community garden. We will be using apples from the garden to create our very own apple juice. Also if you have surplus apples in your own garden then bring some, along with some empty plastic juice /milk bottles and we will turn your apples into juice you can take away. There will be tea, coffee (and of course apple juice) along with home baking for you to enjoy on the day. This is a free family friendly event, but any donations on the day will be most welcome.

Photos from Wednesday Family Fun Day. A big thanks to everyone who turned up, making it a great day . We opened our grand bug hotel, the kids had fun making watering cans, bee drinking station, painting slates and ticked of a list of all the little bugs they found in garden. Thanks to our coordinator Ruth Crichton for organising the event,the volunteers,Denise who trumpeted the opening of the bug hotel and Rosie Gibson for designing the poster. 🌿

We had a visit from the Nationwide Building Society on Thursday as part of their volunteer day . A big thanks for all the work they did in the garden. If there’s any other companies or businesses looking to do some volunteering please get in touch 🍃
