Lipreading & Sign Language Classes in Ingatestone - new term - held this time at Seymour Pavilion

These classes start from the last week of September 2025
Lipreading classes:
Do you have difficulty following conversation even though you may wear a hearing aid? Does your hearing loss make you feel isolated? If you have become deaf or hard of hearing then lipreading can help improve communication. Our lipreading tutor, Jacqui, teaches you skills for a better understanding of lipreading and how it all works. This, as well as the group support in a relaxed environment, helps you gain confidence in managing your own hearing loss.
Sign language classes:
These sessions are offered to both hearing and hard of hearing learners. The lessons are taught by Sarah, our Deaf tutor. Sarah has years of teaching experience. Come along and have a go at these fun sessions. See what you think about this beautiful visual language.
The classes are based on 6 sessions and start in the last week of September 2025.
They are held at Seymour Pavilion in Ingatestone.

These are offered to both hearing and hard of hearing learners. Come along to our fun lessons! They are taught by Sarah, our Deaf tutor. Sarah has years of teaching experience. Come along and try it out!
