🌟🌈 WE’RE BACK! 🌈🌟

What a super first week back we’ve had at 2’s Group seeing our old friends and meeting our new families too! 🥰

Our theme this week was Nursery Rhymes 🎶📚
We made fantastic incy wincy spiders 🕷 helped build a wall for Humpty Dumpty 🧱 baked some currant buns for our baker’s shop 👩🏼‍🍳 made Miss Polly’s dollies all better 🏥 worked hard on Old MacDonald’s farm 🚜 cut the grass to help Little Bo Peep find her sheep 🐑 and of course sang lots of our favourite nursery rhymes 🎵🎶

We would also like to say a HUGE thank you to one of our amazing families, the Meldrums, for making us a fantastic new tree to hang our names on - we absolutely love it! ♥️🪾

I hope you all have a lovely weekend and I can’t wait to see you again next week where we’ll be exploring what we might be ‘When we grow up…’ 👮🏻‍♀️👩‍⚕️👩🏼‍🏫👷🏼‍♂️

Local support like this is vital to the running of our group, and every penny will go towards ensuring future little ones in the community continue to have a group where they can explore, socialise, learn and thrive 🌱

🍦 s u m m e r f u n 🍦

What a super sunny week we’ve had at 2s group to end our term on a high!☀️😎

We played with our favourite toys 🛝 enjoyed a picnic snack 🧺 and even had a special visit from Aboyne Ice Cream Van who provided us with some delicious ice cream treats!🍦

We said farewell to some of our friends who are moving on to start their nursery journeys. We will miss you all but know you are going to be little super stars 💫

A big THANK YOU goes out to all our 2’s Group families and commitee members for continuing to support our group ✨

I hope you all have a wonderful Summer and I look forward to seeing you all and meeting our new families when we return in August 🌈🌟

“Can we fix it? Yes we can!” 🛠️

What a great time we had down on the construction site at 2’s Group this week 👷🏼‍♂️🔨🧱

We worked hard fixing 🛠 hammering 🔨 sawing 🪚 measuring 📏 building 🪛 scooping 🚜 and driving our construction vehicles 🚧👷‍♀️🏗

We also made a very special card for this Sunday… 💌

We can’t wait to see you all again next week for our end of term Summer celebration 😎🍦🌈

What a great time we’ve had this week at 2’s Group with all our favourite characters ☺️🌈

We helped Postman Pat deliver the mail 📮 shopped at Miss Rabbit’s supermarket 🐰 kept Pontypandy safe with Fireman Sam 🚒 went on rescue missions with the Paw Patrol 🐾 played with Peppa and friends 🐷 helped Bob the Builder on the construction site 👷‍♀️ puffed through Sodor with Thomas the Tank Engine 🚂 and enjoyed some sleeping bunnies parachute fun! 🐇🫧

I can’t wait to see you all next week when we’ll be putting on our hard hats and heading down to the construction site! 👷‍♀️⚒️

Ahoy there landlubbers! 🏴‍☠️ what a fantastic time we had being Pirates this week! ☠️🏝️

We searched for buried treasure in the sand 🏝 explored our precious jewels 💎 sailed our pirate ships through choppy seas 🌊 walked the plank 🐊 made super pirate parrots 🦜 read the story ‘10 Little Pirates’ 📖 and had lots of fun with the parachute singing sea shanties! ⚓️🫧🎵

Next week get ready to meet Peppa 🐷Thomas 🚂 Postman Pat 📮 Paw Patrol 🐾 and many more friends as we explore ‘Our Favourite Characters’ 🌈✨

What a super week we’ve had exploring life ‘Under the Sea’ 🐟⚓️🐙🐳🧜🏻‍♀️

We became deep sea divers 🤿 splashed with magical mermaids 🧜🏻‍♀️ created sea creatures 🦑 fixed broken submarines ⚒️ made jiggling jellyfish 🎨 snipped seaweed ✂️ explored shells and gems in the sensory trays 🐚 popped bubbles 🫧 and enjoyed everyone’s favourite song…🦈🎶

Next week prepare to sail the seas, hunt for treasure and maybe even walk the plank as we become swashbuckling pirates! 🏴‍☠️🏝️

We’ve had a great week at 2’s Group exploring our ‘On the Beach’ theme 🐚🦀🐠

We built sandcastles 🪣 went fishing 🎣 enjoyed the sensory shell tray 🐚 sailed boats in the water ⚓️ used our fine motor skills to thread beads onto the octopus 🐙 served yummy treats in our beach cafe 🍦and made a super starfish craft ⭐️

I can’t wait to see you all again next week when we’ll be diving deep ‘Under the Sea’ 🧜🏻‍♀️🦞🐬
