A fantastic day of gliding!

Today, three of our cadets and one member of staff took to the skies for an amazing gliding experience.

It was a brilliant opportunity to experience aviation from a completely different perspective, develop new skills, and enjoy the incredible feeling of soaring through the air.

A huge well done to everyone involved — we hope you had an unforgettable day!

What an incredible weekend for CDT Ardito, CDT Rawles and CDT Whitley!

The cadets had the amazing opportunity to go flying in a Grob Tutor, gaining an unforgettable experience in the air. To make the experience even more exciting, they were also able to experience aerobatics!

As if that wasn’t enough, they also got to witness a Hawker T2 jet take off — making it a truly memorable weekend for all three cadets.

A fantastic opportunity and an experience they won’t forget anytime soon!

A huge congratulations to CDT Hopwood on achieving their Silver Cyber badge, and to CDT Robinson on achieving their Blue Music badge!

Both are fantastic achievements and show the hard work and dedication they have put into developing their skills. Well done to you both — we’re incredibly proud of you!

And finally, the biggest congratulations go to CI Wilson, who has successfully passed his interview to become SGT Wilson. Your hard work, dedication, and commitment to the squadron have truly paid off, and we have no doubt you’ll excel in your new role.

Every qualification, badge, and promotion reflects the time, effort, and determination our cadets and volunteers put into developing themselves. We are incredibly proud of all your achievements—keep up the fantastic work!

After weeks of hard work, dedication, and preparation leading up to Wing Competition, it was finally time for the cadets to let off some steam!

This evening’s challenge saw everyone taking on a series of tasks whilst wearing vision-impairing goggles, testing their coordination, communication, and teamwork. Safe to say there were plenty of laughs all around!

We’re incredibly proud of the effort every cadet put into preparing for Wing Competition. The commitment, resilience, and team spirit they’ve shown has been outstanding, and it’s important to celebrate that hard work with activities that are just as enjoyable as they are challenging.

A fantastic evening full of laughter, friendly competition, and great memories. Well done to everyone who took part!

Congratulations to Sgt Kaminski on being awarded Wing Sportsman of the Year at this year’s Wing Competition.

This award is a testament to the dedication, determination, and sportsmanship he has shown throughout the year. It is a fantastic achievement, and one that is thoroughly deserved.

A huge well done also goes to all of our cadets who represented the squadron. Every single one of you put in an incredible amount of effort, showed real determination, and gave your best throughout the competition. Your hard work, teamwork, and commitment made us all proud.

Only slightly delayed… by about two years! Better late than never.

On Wednesday, some of our cadets and staff went to Eden Camp Museum for the day. It was a good insight into the history of the former Italian prisoner of war camp, which included a live tank display of an M4 Sherman.

Thank you to CI Jobling for organising the trip, it was a most enjoyable day!
