National Cadet Week Parade

866 Immingham Squadron and 195 Grimsby Squadron joined Grimsby Army Cadets and Grimsby Sea Cadets for the National Cadet Week Parade, celebrating the commitment, dedication and achievements of young people across the cadet organisations.

The parade provided an opportunity to recognise the values shared across the services, including leadership, discipline, teamwork and service to the community. It was a proud occasion that brought together cadets and staff from across the area to celebrate the positive impact of the cadet experience.

Thank you to all the cadets, volunteers and staff who took part and helped make the parade a success.

A huge congratulations to Cdt Nutt, Cdt Chaplin and Cdt Gannon, who have successfully completed their Blue Air Training Package.

Following their hard work and commitment, all three cadets had the fantastic opportunity to take to the skies on Monday and experience flying first-hand.

Well done to all three cadets on this fantastic achievement, and we hope you enjoyed your time in the air.

The final night for CWO Smith!

5 years he’s been in cadets, joining after covid and working his way through skills, badges and ranks.

He has work tirelessly in the organisation and running of the squadron from when he first joined helping to training multiple sets of new in takes.

It has been a privilege to work under him with all his knowledge and achievements such as:
Gliding scholarship
Gold Cyber
Silver Dofe
Gold Shot
Plus many more

Thank you for all your hard work and dedication to the squadron.
