The meadow is currently growing to be cut as hay!

At least it is dry enough to camp on though

The difference a month of rain can make - the ground is now sodden, and the clay 'liquid' so no vehicles on it, and, careful choice of alternative paths to protect it.

It's ! 😍🐹

Let's celebrate one of our cutest woodland creatures! Here are a few facts about the hazel dormouse:

🌙 Usually only comes out at night.
🫐 Eats berries, hazelnuts, and insects.
🌳 Lives in deciduous woodland (and thick, overgrown hedges).
🐾 Currently searching for hibernation spots.
⚠️ A protected species in the UK.

I offer a place to pitch or park up in peace and quiet, water and compost toilet. As I'm running an eco-project I'm asking you to take everything away with you.

The cost is low, but your enjoyment will be high, and you can learn more about living with less and more sustainably in your visit if you wish.
