Waterside Repair Cafe runs on the last Saturday of each month.

SATURDAY 30TH MAY.

Our repair cafe is this saturday. Pop along with all your things that need repairing.

There will be free bread from the The Waterside Food Project for you to take away. And tea and coffee to enjoy while you items are being repaired.

Saturday 25th Repair cafe is back!

Pop along this saturday with all the things ypu need fixing and let us see if we can.
As always we make no promises, but always try out best.

Robbie will be there, but limited to just small fixes as he has hurt his shoulder. Everyone else should be there to help you.

31st January 2026 first repair cafe of the year!

Got stuff you need repairing?
Would you like to help us fix things? Or support us on our mission to to kerp things out of waste streams?

We need volunteers and passionate people to help grow our repair cafe!

TOMORROW MORNING 29TH November.

Our last repair cafe of the year.

What do repair cafes do?

The basics is repairing broken household items to save them from waste.

But we do so much more than that !

We save you money, repair is cheaper most of the time than buying new.

We save the planet - repairing and keepkng the things you already have saves the worlds resources.

We keep money out of the billionaires pockets
- and remember most of them dont pay tax.

We keep memories - the one I think is almost most important. Repairing things that have been passed down through the family, or hold childhood memories safe for the next generation .

What do you have that needs our care?

Pop along between 10 and 1.30pm Blackfield Baptist Church and see what we can do.

If you cant make it we will wish you a very happy christmas and a happy new year ( sorry feels a but early for tbat!) And we will be back the last saturday of January 2026.

Want to help fix things? Or help us with the running of the repair cafe? We are.looking for volunteers who want to join us on our mission to save household items form waste.

30th August waterside repair cafe will be open!

10 - 1 pm Blackfield Baptist Church.

Bring us your broken things and we will do our best to fix them for you.

Some of last months fixes include

A food mixer. Fixed using a part from one we hadn't been able to fix that we had kept for parts.

A tree light. Fixed using a switch saved from a broken games controller.

We dont charge for our services, but donations help make sure we can purchase any items we may need like fuses and batteries, with the rest going to support the running of the community pantry 's place

Will see us back repairing your items and having tea and cake!

Pop along and say hi, wnning of the repair cafee will see if we can fix it, and have a cuppa at the same time.

We are also looking for more repairers, and volunteers to help with the running of the repair cafe who would like to help us with our mission of keeping stuff out of landfill.
