So much going on at the bookshop for Huntly Hairst!
Dawn and Alice will be sharing their art and craft in the side room inside the bookshop with a pop-up gallery event.
Out in the back garden you’ll find Cara and Melissa getting colourful with face painting for bairns.
Inside the shop you’ll find all the usual bargains as well as wonderful books by local authors.

A date for the diaries! A double book launch for another Orb’s Authors event. Not to be missed free event for all fans of sci-fi and dark fantasy. Two superb authors in one event.
Sept 15th at Orb’s Bookshop on The Square in Huntly.

It’s a walk-in event but it’s going to be popular so it’s helpful to know numbers. If you can drop us a line in advance that’s great, but not essential. If you have a specific need for a chair or want to ask any questions about access - message here or email.

We’re supporting Huntly Hairst as usual by bringing some extra sparkle to the Square on Saturday Sept 5th.
We’re open all day and inside the bookshop you’ll find a fantastic pop-up gallery in the side room with beautiful things for sale.
We’ll have our usual booky bargains in the shop and a treasure trove of books you won’t find in regular bookshops.
In the back garden we’ll have our gazebo set up for face painting in our lovely green space. A little haven from the crowds.

The cat-alogue inspection went well today. We passed by more than a whisker and nothing cat-astrophic happened. We all had paws for thought.
The customer found the “pets” section but complained that our mouse book quota was far too low for his liking.
