It was the year 1976, 50 years ago, and Ian Watson and George Murison were admitted into the mysteries and privileges of ancient Freemasonry. Since then, both have been stalwarts and excellent ambassadors of the lodge. Both are Past Masters of the Lodge and Past First Principals of the Chapter and have helped the lodge to go from strength-to-strength over the last half-century.

It was my privilege to award these two deserving brethren with Jubilee certificates of recognition from The Grand Lodge of Scotland and to invest them with the jewel of recognition.

Thank you again and to all the brethren who came along to show their support.

Brethren,

A reminder that St John Lodge No. 745, Huntly, will meet this Thursday the 23rd April.
Tyle is 7.30 pm.

The meeting will be a short business meeting, after which we will retire for an end‑of‑season curry, kindly provided by PM Anderson.

It will be a particularly special evening, as I will have the distinct pleasure of presenting two of our well‑known Past Masters with their 50 years’ Jubilee Service to the Craft.

It would be great to see a strong turnout, with members of the Lodge past and present, as many Past Masters as we can muster, and of course visiting brethren are most welcome.

On Tuesday, a deputation from Lodge St John 745 will be working a MMM Degree for two brethren at Lodge Marnoch 1325 in Foggie in the Provincial Grand Lodge of Banffshire . The RWM requests a good turnout of brethren to support him and the RWMM in this visitation. 1325 tyles at 7.30pm.

On Thursday, Lodge St John 745 will be working an exemplification of the FC degree. The lodge will tyle at 7.30pm.

Sat - 28.03.26
On Saturday, the lodge will be hosting a soup and sweet from 12 noon to 2 pm. Assistance from brethren and raffle donations are greatly appreciated.
