Six new faces are set to join the York Professional's Board of Directors following a fantastic response from the professional services sector.

Tracy Calcraft - Brainkind, Dawn Clements - York Museums Trust, John Lane – YorWealth Ltd, Sue Newton-Denton – York College, Luke Norbury – Home Instead York and Joe Richardson – Partners PR joined the Board this month, further strengthening the organisation’s representation of the Business Support, Charity, Finance, Marketing and Partnership sectors.

The appointments come under the leadership of the new incoming Chair of York Professionals - Susie Mortonson from Andrew Jackson Solicitors, who took over from Elliot Rich - The Business Owners Coach earlier this month. Susie will steer the organisation over her three-year term, closely supported by the newly appointed Vice Chair – Lorraine Wilson from YorGuest.

Have you booked your table or tickets yet for the York Professional's Masquerade Ball taking place on Thursday 17th October at York Racecourse?

Warmly regarded as the highlight in York's business calendar, the York Professionals Annual Dinner which, this year, takes on the theme of an elegant Masquerade Ball, is open to everybody - whether Members of Non Members of York Professionals. Don't worry if you can't fill a table, you are very welcome to buy individual tickets. We'll be making up tables of individuals and will make sure you are sat with great company!

The evening will begin in style with a drinks reception set against the sounds of Bridgerton inspired music with classically trained String Quartet - 'The Ebor Quartet'. This will be followed by a three-course dinner, live music and dancing with 'The Supermodels'. Guests can have a flutter on the Casino Tables, strike a pose with our Magic Mirror and network the night away.
