Malcolm’s Retreat is a fully operational, purpose-built lodge offering free respite breaks for families and individual
s affected by cancer. The lodge sits on the bank of ‘Rook’ - one of the site’s pleasure fishing lakes. This beautiful and comfortable, air-conditioned lodge sleeps up to 5 guests and features:
- Open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area
- Two bedrooms
- A spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower
- Private fishing peg with free use and equipment
- Large decking looking out over the lake with outdoor furniture and BBQ
- Smart TVs, Wi-Fi throughout
- Bedding, towels, and essentials provided
- Dog-friendly (up to 2 well-behaved dogs welcome)
Guests can enjoy self-catering with a fully equipped kitchen, or visit the Rookery Café just 50 metres away for breakfast, snacks, lunch and drinks. Nearby amenities include shops, takeaways, and restaurants in Warboys, Somersham, and Huntingdon. Activities include:
