🛡️⚽ PLAY SAFE 2026 | KEEP UP THE CONVO

At the Hunts Youth League, our four pillars aren’t just words — they represent the environment we want every young person to experience when playing football.

This season’s Play Safe – Keep Up The Convo campaign fits perfectly with what our league stands for:

🟢 DEVELOP – Give young players a voice and create an environment where they feel safe to learn, grow and express themselves.

🔵 INSPIRE – Be the positive adult they can talk to. Listen, encourage and show them that their opinions matter.

🔴 SUCCEED – Success in youth football is about much more than results. It’s creating confident, happy young people who enjoy being part of the game.

🟡 RESPECT – Listen to young people. Respect their feelings, experiences and views — and take what they tell us seriously.

Whether you’re a coach, parent, referee, volunteer or league official, everyday conversations can make a difference.

On the pitch. On the sidelines. Before and after training. Travelling to games. At pick-up and drop-off.

💬 KEEP IT LIGHT. KEEP IT OPEN. KEEP IT ACTIVE.

👀 KEEP YOUR EYE ON THE BALL… AND YOUR EARS ON THE CONVO.

DEVELOP • INSPIRE • SUCCEED • RESPECT

💚 Four pillars. One league. Keeping young people safe in football.

⚽️ Play Safe weekend encourages our under 14 team to vocalise themselves to our coaches and also throughout the season to create a postive environment. We also support our captain and vice-captains as extra points of contact within the team that players can reach out to.

Help support a postive environment in your team to create an experience that they will take with them to adulthood.

Playsafe weekend and lets keep the atmosphere positive from the sidelines and on the pitch. Lets enjoy the game

This weekend, Ramsey Colts is proud to support Play Safe — a national campaign reminding everyone involved in football about the importance of safeguarding children and young people. 💛

🗣️ Keep up the convo.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility, and creating a safe, positive and inclusive environment starts with talking, listening and speaking up.

👊 Let’s keep conversations going.
👂 Listen to our young people.
💬 Speak up if something doesn’t feel right.
⚽ And most importantly, let’s make sure football remains a safe place for every child to enjoy.

This weekend, we’re backing Play Safe. Are you? 💛🖤

🚭 Hunts Youth League Joins the Smokefree Sidelines Campaign ⚽

The Hunts Youth League is proud to announce that we have signed up to the Smokefree Sidelines initiative in partnership with Living Better

As a league built around our four pillars of Develop, Inspire, Succeed and Respect, we are committed to creating a positive, safe and healthy environment for all players, coaches, referees, volunteers and spectators.

The Smokefree Sidelines campaign encourages adults to avoid smoking and va**ng on the sidelines or anywhere in view of children, helping to reduce exposure and promote positive role models across grassroots football.

We are asking all of our member clubs to get behind this initiative and actively encourage smokefree sidelines at their venues on league matchdays. By working together, we can help create healthier environments for young players and set a positive example for future generations. You can sign up your club on the following link to get your free POS to show your participation
