This Friday, come along to Huntingdon Market Square and enjoy a fantastic live performance from 2nd Chance.

With live music, a great atmosphere, and a selection of food and drink available from local vendors, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Come along with family and friends, relax, enjoy the music and soak up the atmosphere. And you never know – you might even spot one of your favourite DJs enjoying the evening and taking in the fantastic vibes!

Join us for a fun, welcoming and inclusive Halloween session filled with music, movement, dancing and plenty of spooky fun.

Best of all, the event is completely FREE to attend! However, you MUST register your place in advance as spaces are limited.

What an incredibly special evening. ❤️

I honestly can’t thank everyone enough for making tonight such a beautiful, joyful and unforgettable night.

Seeing so many happy faces, laughter, dancing and people simply enjoying being themselves brought tears to my eyes. 🥹

A huge heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated, helped set up, welcomed people, tidied away and supported the evening in any way. And a massive thank you to our incredible in-house band, 2nd Chance — you were amazing! 🎶

Almost five years ago, I started Dance Ability with one simple belief: that everyone deserves somewhere they feel welcome, included and valued.

Tonight reminded me exactly why I started.

I’m so incredibly proud of what we have created together, and humbled by every single person who continues to support it. You have changed lives, but you’ve also changed mine. ❤️

A special thank you to the Mayor and Mayoress of Huntingdon for joining us and dancing the night away with everyone — truly wonderful.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you all. ❤️

Well, this is the calm before the storm!

A massive thank you to Julie Hill, Donna Dean, Rick and Sean Nightingale for all their help setting up this morning, and to everyone who has donated and supported tonight’s event.

Organising an event takes a huge amount of time and commitment, especially alongside full-time work, so thank you to each and every one of you.

It’s still warm, so please keep hydrated and take care of yourselves.

And don’t worry the first drink is on us!

Being selected as a Dance Ability Captain is a special honour and a position of responsibility. Captains are trusted to help ensure that every event is fun, friendly and inclusive for everyone.

Captains are expected to:

* Welcome others and help everyone feel included.
* Join in with dancing and activities and encourage others to participate.
* Be kind, friendly and respectful towards everyone.
* Look out for others and help create a positive experience.
* Listen to organisers and offer assistance when needed.
* Set a positive example and wear the Captain’s armband with pride.

Above all, Captains should promote inclusion, positivity and enjoyment, helping everyone feel welcome and valued.
