One week ago we had Huntingdon Carnival 2025 and what a weekend it was! This is a little photo drop from that weekend so take a look at what we all got up to!

What an amazing weekend that was! I want to give a massive thank you to everyone who made this weekend possible. Our incredible paraders, the fantastic vendors and stall holders, all of those stunningly talented performers, and of course all of you for coming and enjoying with us!

I also want to give a huge thank you to all of our wonderful carnival committee members who have been working tirelessly to make this event possible!

Pictures we took over the last couple of days will be coming out on Facebook over the next week or so, so keep an eye out and see if you can spot yourself! And please keep tagging us in the photos you're all posting, we love seeing how much fun you all had!

Thanks to everyone who came out to walk today and congratulations to the costume contest winners Dance Ability!

Today is the final musical act announcement and we have 3 fantastic performers to tell you about! These performers are Ska-dust, Soul Intention and Driver!

Ska Dust are a vocal duo who have been performing at pubs, clubs and festivals for 15 years. Showcasing ska and reggae, high energy music and a fun vibe for all.

Soul Intention are a 9-piece sixties soul band, who play music from the 1960s, showcasing the deep soul music from the era, including music by artists such as Stax, Motown, and River Deep.

Driver are a talented bunch from Cambridgeshire who play all classic pop and rock covers.

We can’t wait to see this incredible lineup!

🛑Road Closure Information🛑

To accommodate for the carnival parade, some roads in the Huntingdon area are being temporarily closed while the event runs. Info is below:

This information relates to Saturday the 9th of August 2025.
The event will require the closure of several roads for 15 minutes, from 12:00. These roads include:
Princes Street (Near the gates to The market)
Princes Street/Bus Station
St Mary’s Street
High Street
Hartford Road
Huntingdon Ringroad (Hartford Road to Riverside Park)

There are also road closures on Princes Street near the Gates to The market from 11:00.

Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times and we would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your support of Huntingdon Carnival.

It’s a double announcement day folks!

We would like to introduce two of our incredible performers to you today and those are Mawson's Folly and Raw Divas !

Mawson‘s Folly are an acoustic singer songwriter duo based in the Cambridgeshire area. Tim and Helen play multiple instruments and write ballads that are both thought provoking and jovial. They take you on a journey encompassing hills, streams and life. They love their audience to sing along with them, especially in the choruses, so if you get chance to look into their music before the weekend make sure to get learning!

Raw Divas are a versatile harmony duo who cover anything and everything from the 1920s all the way to the 2020s. From ABBA to Motown, from Dirty Dancing to Country, from Grease to Soul, and from Family sets to Speakeasy. Known for their stunning harmonies that enhance these fabulously classic songs, you are sure to hear something you know and love!

We are super excited to have these performers and can’t wait to see them!

It’s act announcement time! Let us introduce to you Oli Bruce

Oli is an indie pop artist based in Cambridgeshire who boasts an impressive high tenor range which allows him to perform a variety of his original songs, plus numerous covers. He is inspired by the smooth, clear harmonic sounds of The Corrs and the bubbly angst sounds of Beach Bunny and Beabadoobee!

Oli is well known in our local area so you may know his music already, either way come by to check him out!
