Hi All - The 2026 calendar "The Beauty of Hunnington" is now available for general sale, based on photographs taken by Alec Longhurst, some of which have previously been posted on this Facebook group. They can be bought at the St. Kenelm’s School Christmas Fayre this Saturday (12-3pm), where Karen Payne will be manning a stall, and will also be available from the Horsepool Farm shop from Tuesday (9th december).

The calendars are proving very popular, and several Hunnington residents have commented on their quality, so don’t miss out! A preview of the calendar is available here: https://hunningtonparishcouncil.gov.uk/news
They are A4 landscape and available for £5 each, cash only, and we would be grateful if you have the correct amount on purchase.

If you are visiting the Horsepool Farm shop, the opening times are: Tuesday – Saturday 08:30-12:00 and 3pm–6pm, Sunday 8:30-12 (closed Sunday afternoon and Mondays). You might even find a Christmas stocking filler while you are there!

Please note this BESS petition - the number of signatures is quite low, as it needs 10,000 to get parliamentary attention, so please sign the petition and bring it to the attention of others!

Review the regulations on Battery Energy Storage System systems, including how close they can be built to homes, schools and hospitals, and rules around safety.

Dear Resident - the Goodrest Farm BESS application was once again deferred at last night's Planning Meeting (29th July). There was a last minute intervention from Hereford and Worcestershire Fire Service as Grenergy had still not responded to some of their safety concerns. More details are on HPCs web site, along with a link to the Fire Service letter (which is also on the Planning Portal).

Dear Resident - following deferment from 23rd June, the Goodrest Farm BESS application will now be on the Bromsgrove Planning Committee agenda on Tuesday 29th July. The agenda will be published during the week before the meeting at the link below:
