Such sad news, we have had some amazing times with Holme Valley Lions over the years. We look forward to welcoming Ken to join our little band of Lions. Thank you to all who performed and attended our concert last Monday celebrating the music of the Colne Valley. We were joined by the choir of St John's Junior and Infant School (good luck to them in their competition in Birmingham in summer), Linthwaite band and Colne Valley Male Voice Choir (good luck to those tonight singing with Ellie Sax at The Piece Hall!!)

MARSDEN 10 MILE RACE
Stadium Runners are proud to present the Marsden 10 trail race

Sunday 7th June 2026 – 10am

Enter on BookitZone
A 10 mile Run starting in Marsden and proceeding on trails via Deer Hill Reservoir to Wessendean Head Road. It then climbs Wessenden Head Road to Wessenden Head before heading downhill along trails in the Wessenden Valley to Marsden. Post-race refreshments for all, race memento for all pre-entrants.

Entry numbers can be collected on the day from 8.30am from Marsden Conservative Club in Victoria Street. Parking will be available in the National Trust Car Park at Marsden Station.

The event is licensed by the Trail Running Association and will be run under UK Athletics Rules. You must be at least 17 years of age on race day to compete. £15 UK Affiliated Runners/£17 others-plus Booking Fee.
