Once again, a huge thank you to Cllr Imran Safdar for delivering these generous donations. Your continued support is appreciated very much by our Team and everyone that uses our service.

Thank you also to Mr Shafaq from Millgate Garage, Mrs Safdar Senior and friends from Huddersfield Parish Church for helping Cllr Safdar buy these amazing donations. They will be made available, along with lots of other food items, to visitors during the Sunday foodbank session, from 11:30 to 12:30 here at the Huddersfield Community Fridge.

Another amazing food delivery from Cllr Alex Vickers - just one of the many ways she supports the work at Huddersfield Community Fridge!

From the bottom of our hearts, we would like to thank Alex for her kindness and generosity. She gives so much more than food - she gives her time, compassion and genuine care for every member of our community. Her selfless dedication and willingness to go above and beyond never go unnoticed, and we are so grateful for everything she does.

Seeing her young family members volunteering alongside her shows that compassion, generosity and community spirit are values being passed on in the most wonderful way.

Thank you Alex for all your support! And thank you also to Cllr Imran Safdar and our friends from the Huddersfield Parish Church who helped Alex fundraise for these donations. Huddersfield is a better, kinder place because of people like you. 💚

Good evening everyone, and Eid Mubarak to all those who will be celebrating tomorrow! Hope everyone's been able to safely enjoy the wonderful early summer weather.

Despite it being Eid tomorrow, please rest assured that we will still be offering the Wednesday foodstall from 6.30pm. So if you know someone who needs to pop by to pick up some food items then please let them know that we'll be looking forward to welcoming them as usual. Thank you
