Growing Works, Nurtures Healthy Lives Outdoors.
Check out our outdoor therapeutic activities for adults, SEND families and teenagers.

For our SEND teenagers we have two opportunities, join Growing Works at the Gala, making eye-catching displays for Ravensknowle Family Gala, with the option to join the stall on the day. At the start of the summer holidays the teenagers will be exploring Oakwell Hall Country Park and setting up their own camp.

For SEND families our regular Saturday morning sessions run at Wakefield Road Allotments and during August we also run Wednesdays and Fridays at Oakwell Hall Country Park - see flyer for more details and booking information.

We are 3 sessions in to our Wild & Well programme funded by Minds. We have spent time connecting with nature, and each other and learning loads while we do!
Connecting to nature is shown to have huge benefits for our wellbeing like reducing feelings of stress and improving concentration. The knock on effect is that we care more for our environment and the wildlife that lives there.

We have some brilliant sessions coming up, so please come along. Awaken that nature enthusiast in yourself!

Booking is essential - email [email protected]

We sat and talked as we drew wildflowers and learned about how cool 'weeds' really are!

It's inspired up to think about what we would like to do in the coming months 🙌

We will be back again next month. Thank you for having us!
