🚑 FIRST AID WITH THE CUBS! 🚑

Tonight, Katherine from our District/County Training Team joined us to teach the Cubs some really important first aid skills. 🩹

The Cubs learned:
❤️ How to put someone into the recovery position
📞 How and when to get help
🩸 How to stop bleeding
🔥 How to treat burns
🛟 And, most importantly, how to keep themselves and others safe in an emergency.

The Cubs even had the chance to help an adult into the correct and safe recovery position – putting their new skills into practice! 👏

A huge thank you to Katherine for a brilliant, practical and engaging evening. The Cubs certainly learned lots and hopefully now feel a little more confident about what to do if they ever find themselves in an emergency.

Or perhaps you’d rather be part of a group, dance, help tell the story or try something completely new?

There’s a place for everyone in WYS ON SHOW 2027. You don’t need to be a confident singer or actor - our cast includes lots of different talents, interests and abilities, and we’d love you to be part of it!

You must:
✅ Be a youth member of West Yorkshire Scouts
✅ Be aged 6–25 at the time of the show

WYS ON SHOW 2027 will be performed at Bingley Arts Centre on Thursday 25th, Friday 26th and Saturday 27th February 2027.

This evening, the Cubs did football, bean bag throwing, relay races, egg & spoon, long jump and a sack race. They all completed the athletics badge and were awarded the badge.

Last two weeks we have learnt to build and camp fire and cook on them. S’mores, sausages and squidgy puds

Making rice crispy buns, Easter baskets, egg hunt and badges awarded.

After the hunt we asked the cubs how may eggs everyone had . Realising that some of the younger cubs had a lot less Harry offered to share some of his to make it more fairs… sharing is caring 🩷❤️💚
