Our next community clean up is happening in September!

Our Ashbrow Green Councillors are going to be leading a cleanup of Red Doles play area and the footpath leading up to it.

Make sure to wear weather appropriate clothing. Bags and pickers will be provided, but make sure to bring some suitable gloves 🧤

Have you ever thought about your liver health? This is your chance to get a free liver health check and scan from the Community Liver Health Checks Team's mobile clinic.

🕙 10:00am - 2:30pm
📍 Chestnut Centre, 2a Chestnut Street, Sheepridge, Huddersfield HD2 1HJ

The team will be on hand to provide information about liver health, liver disease, and ways to improve your wellbeing.

Free liver scans are available for eligible individuals, including people who:

✅ May have previously had or been at risk of Hepatitis B or C
✅ Drink more than 14 units of alcohol per week
✅ Are aged 50+ with Type 2 diabetes
✅ Are aged 50+ and have a high BMI

⚠️ No appointment needed. This is a first come, first served event.

Before attending:

• Please avoid eating for 3 hours before your scan (water is fine)
• Wear separate tops and bottoms to make the scan easier and more comfortable
