Buzz is bringing together refugees, job seekers and vulnerable people as teachers, learners and partners, to refugees for quick and right integration, involve them with their new society, improve their skills and help them how they can apply in useful job. We started to involve them in beekeeping project for learn from bee society lot of things; organise t

heir life, team work, respect, productive, evolve their society … beekeeping is the best sample for improve the behaviours! We have aimed to install and manage up to 20 beehives intended to produce honey, royal jelly and beeswax, led by apiary and horticultural expert Ryad Alsous, from Damascus in Syria, and supported by steering group for apply all of this project aims. The bee hives are based at Tunnel End, Marsden, “River and Canal Trust” who have generously provided the plot of land for this innovative project. Waters Edge cafe at Tunnel End kindly sell the honey produced and donate 100% of the price back to Buzz. Sanctuary Kirklees is the sponsor of this project and we are working under its umbrella.
