We are a small, friendly & relaxed Freemasons Lodge which is over 100 years old.

We meet once a month for Full Lodge meetings, three times a month for a Lodge of Instruction & often throughout the year for social events with our Ladies, Friends & Family.

At 7pm on Thursday 30th April at Lindley Masonic Hall Huddersfield, Cambodunum Lodge No. 3953 will be receiving a talk from Bro. Dr. Robert Lomas PPGStdB entitled 'The Secrets of the Third Degree." Master Masons would be very welcome to attend and enjoy this fascinating presentation and to stay for the Festive Board afterwards.

Wishing you all a Happy Saint Patrick's Day from all the Brethren of Cambodunum Lodge No. 3953! At our last meeting we enjoyed an 'Olde Irish Night' with the company our family and friends, with Worshipful Master Howard Collins drummed into the dining room, a delicious three-course meal and a collection that raised £140 for charity. Freemasonry at its best!

On Thursday 30th October, W. Bro. Howard P. Collins PPDGReg was duly installed as the Worshipful Master of Cambodunum Lodge No. 3953 at Lindley Masonic Hall, Huddersfield.

The ceremony was honoured by the presence of W. Bro. Simon N.J. Green PPSGW and over 25 visiting Brethren, some from as far away as Canada!

Following the ceremony the brethren enjoyed the fellowship and harmony of a Festive Board, making a wonderful end to the evening.

Freemasonry at its best!

Yorkshire Ambulance Service, Cambodunum Lodge No 3953 and the four other Lodges who meet at Lindley Masonic Hall on New Hay Road - Concord, Brighouse, Rastrick and Clifton - have shared the £2,000 cost of installing a community defribillator outside the Hall.

The defribillator is placed on the national register and anyone who dials 999 to Yorkshire Ambulance Service needing help, and who is near the Masonic Hall, will be given the access code to open the box and take the defribillator to a patient.

Joanne Watson, community co- ordinator and Sarah Aston, representing Yorkshire Ambulance Service, joined representatives from the Lodges which meet at Lindley at a handover ceremony last week.

In the Yorkshire Ambulance Service area, community defribillators are accessed around 50 times a day, though fortunately, don't need to be used every time.
