Summer Strum Summer Strum FREE Ukulele Festival takes place annually in Hoylake. Summer Strum also runs fundraiser events throughout the year.

The Summer Strum is a charitable Ukulele Festival that utilises the magical powers of this small but mighty instrument to create community wellbeing. Run by volunteers, this weekend-long event has 3 stages full of the best ukulele bands from all over the world, stalls, workshops, inflatables for kids, jam sessions and camping. All this for free AND to raise money for our charities Wirral Mind and

Liverpool Women's Neo Natal Unit. We encourage inclusivity, combat loneliness and build community year-long through the Summer Strum Jukebox page.

Hey Strummers! Is it us or was that the best one yet?

Summer Strum are delighted to announce that we all raised a whopping £2360.68 for our nominated charity Wirral Mind

Sara & Lou would like to thank every person who gave us help and donations along the way.
Thanks to all the bands & performers who played - you were AMAZING!
To our awesome sound crew, Jules, Nicolas Gron, Garry & Bro, Pat, Alex, Issy, George & Connor and their security Marg.
To all of the comperes Trevor Clark, Dave Cornett , Ian Taylor, Robin, Philip Hurst & Ian C.
To Mama Mo Smith & Rachael Gill for running the merch & raffle and all those volunteers who did a shift on the stall, the bucket shaking, the human fruit machine & camping arrivals - there are too many to name!
Thanks to Andy Whitehurst, Rebecca, Ian C & Robin Ellis for the workshops this year and The Ship Inn, Hoylake, for hosting our harmonica workshop, again. Thanks Dawn Mcshane for the art egg-heads.
