Howden Show Howden Show is an annual agricultural show organised by a small committee of local volunteers. The show has a long and proud history dating back to 1855.

The Howden Show 2026 is now open for trade stand bookings! Come and join us for a fantastic day of family fun, local food, crafts, and farming tradition.

📍 Where: The Ashes Playing Field, Howden

Show off your products, meet the community, and be part of a much-loved local event. Whether you’re a local farmer, artisan, or small business, we’d love to see you there!

🔸Class G5 - Rose - three blooms, any variety
🔸Class G6 - Flower - one bloom, any variety
🔸Class G7 - Carnations - three stems
🔸Class G8 - One vase of wild flowers - to attract bees.

🔸Class G33 - Three globe beetroot Leaves may be trimmed to 8cm (3ins).
🔸Class G34 - Three carrots Leaves may be trimmed to 8cm (3ins).

🔸Class G36 - Garden in a full size seed tray
🔸Class G37 - A vegetable or flower you have grown yourself

🔸Class G39 - A vegetable/fruit monster or animal
🔸Class G40 - Garden in a full size seed tray

Section 7 - Class for children up to 16 years
🔸Class G43 - GRUB-IN-A-TUB Grow something edible in a container. Looks Good - Tastes Good - Smells Good!

We’re already getting ready for next year’s Howden Show — but we need your help to make it happen!

We’re currently looking for volunteers to join our team in the following key roles:

As we begin planning for Howden Show 2026, and we’re excited to share our full list of upcoming meeting dates below! ⬇️

To make next year’s event a success, we need your help. We're actively looking for new volunteers in all areas – from planning and logistics to helping out on Show Day.

Whether you can offer a few hours or take on a bigger role, every bit of support counts. 💪
