We would be very grateful for donations from the list at the t

If you have a referral and need to access our services please call or text 07990 631892 or email [email protected] on Tuesday 2.30pm-5.30pm, Wednesday 9am-2.30pm or Thursday 11am-3pm, and we can arrange with you a convenient time between 12pm and 2 pm the following Wednesday. We would be grateful if clients could keep to their appointment time to minimise the people visiting the foodbank at any one time. Food parcels are collected from inside the hall, however you may need to wait outside until it is your turn, so that the hall isn't too crowded.

A red heat health alert for the South East has been issued from 1am on Wednesday 24 June until 11pm on Thursday 25 June 2026.

The UK Health Security Agency alert means the hot weather is expected to have an impact on people’s health.

Hot weather can affect anyone, but some people are at greater risk, including older people, young children and those with health conditions.

Take care in the heat:

☀️Drink water regularly
☀️Avoid the midday sun
☀️Check on vulnerable people

If you’re heading to the seafront, make sure you choose a lifeguarded beach.

🔥WE NEED YOUR HELP 🔥
As you may know Waitrose in Hove had a serious fire last week. The store remains closed and because of that we can't get hold of all the wonderful donations customers put into the donation baskets in store! If you are able to donate to us this week we'd be very grateful. Our food costs are rising and with less donations we are spending more each week on food.
Could you make a financial contribution to the foodbank?

Help me spread the word about Hangleton and West Blatchington Food Bank. Together, we can make a difference.

While many of us look forward to the England game, major sporting events can bring increased fear and risk for people experiencing domestic violence or abuse.

If it's happening to you, or you're worried about someone else, help is available. And you don’t have to wait for an emergency to get help.

Find out how to get support, and spot the signs of domestic violence.
