The Hop 50+ Community A centre and community café in Hove. A programme of groups, activities, classes and minibus trips for the over 50s Monday - Saturday.

Friday is our HopStop day which is dedicated to people living with the early stages of Dementia.

We had a busy morning when we invited Amigos Multicultural Preschool in to The Hop to help get our Spring planting under way. We used recycled milk containers for planting and started with tomatoes ( .....some squashed from leftover food! ) and sunflowers.
It is a joy to see the interactions between the generations......... and the little ones sung us a song as they left.......

We had a fabulous workshop last week recycling plastic and transforming it into stunning prints......there was so much inspiration and creativity in the room!
The interest from our Hop customers means that we will be inviting Titch to spend time with us again soon...........
